As a celebrant for a funeral, memorial or celebration of life, I listen closely to the stories about your loved one and weave them into a carefully written ceremony. People’s lives are interesting stories that should be told with dignity, humour and honesty. While a funeral is a sad and difficult event, I have a reputation for using my sense of humour well when retelling stories of the deceased person.
Funerals should be personalised to reflect the life and personality of the deceased. I love to help families find ways to personalise each funeral, using music, memorabilia, clothing items etc that remind you of the person who has died. I can help with that!
I am a storyteller and will narrate the eulogy with expression. I do not lead religious services, although we can include the Lord’s Prayer or a hymn if you wish. I have a large collection of poems that you may like to look through for the funeral.
